We hope that you do not have reason to complain about any of the services we offer at Beech House but if you do please speak to the senior receptionist on duty who will try and resolve the problem.

Alternatively or if you wish to take the complaint further please write or speak to the Practice Manager.

You will be asked to complete an in-house complaint form. The Practice Manager can help you complete this form if required. The completed form can then be checked by you to ensure its accuracy.

On completion of the form the Practice Manager will write to you confirming that the complaint has been registered. Confirmation will be within 3 working days of receipt of the form.

You will be invited to attend an informal meeting with the Practice Manager. You may bring a friend or family member if you wish.

If this informal meeting fails to resolve your complaint then it will then be taken to the in-house complaints committee. This committee comprises a doctor/doctors from the practice and the Practice Manager. You will be invited to attend this meeting and again may bring a friend or family member if you wish. This committee will then make recommendations to try and address the complaint. You will receive a letter outlining these recommendations.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome at this stage you will be advised to contact the Community Health Council at the following address, who will liaise with North Cumbria Health Authority regarding your complaint.
