Kathy is a trained general nurse and childrens nurse. She did her childrens training at Great Ormond Street. She is passionate about babies and children. She is also a trained Relate relationship counsellor though does not work as such now. However she uses her counselling skills training and knowledge a lot in her work. She is getting long in the tooth now but that does not really matter as it counts as experience of which she has a lot!

She has been married for more years than she care to remember and has 3 children. Yet more experience to bring into Health visiting! Her hobbies are her garden and growing fuchsias. She has been described by a friend as a gardening anorak! She loves the Lake District, is called posh by some clients as she comes from the SE but wouldn,t live any where else. She also likes walking in the fells and on the beach with her scruffy mongrel Sweep. Kathy likes working with the Beech house team. She wouldn't dare to say otherwise!! She has been part of the team since 1995 and values her membership very much.
